In winter of 2023, Annie Stokes and Will Berger holed up in a cabin to write an album.

After an intense 16 months of recording, starting from scratch, crowdfunding, and singing at dive bars to finance their studio time and radio promoter, GHOSTWRITER was released - and immediately began charting on folk and alt-country radio alongside artists such as Mumford and Sons and Larkin Poe. To celebrate the community support that allowed this DIY project to gain traction, Annie and the band are throwing their album release party right in the heart of Loudoun County at the beautiful Gap Stage at Hillsboro's Old Stone School (rain location: auditorium).

With local craft vendors, hand-selected wine, and tarot readings, this all-ages hoedown is a great way to celebrate the peak of summer. It's a thank-you note to the people whose generosity and support allowed this album to happen.
